Mowery Orchard LLC
In December, 1984, Robert and Virginia Mowery bought the 20 acre site, part of which the farm market is situated on today. The first group of Apple trees were planted in 1985. The first group of Peaches and the second group of Apples were planted in 1986.

Robert and Virginia started selling Apples and Peaches on weekends from the back of a pickup truck.

In 1992 Robert took a hay wagon and built a movable shed to sell fruit from.
And it grew from there!

Robert and Virginia retired in 2003 and their daughter and son-in-law, Yvette and Tom Bullock, took it over.
Today, besides the orchard we plant around 4,000 tomato plants, as well as another 1,000 vegetable plants (squash, zuchini, cucumbers, peppers). About 2 acres of pumpkins and gourds. Around 1/2 acre of asparagus and spring onions. Most of what we do is under black plastic with drip irrigation.

In 2007, we began selling hanging baskets, herbs, vegetable plants and bedding plants. We also offer quality hand-crafted outdoor furniture.
